                                           The Film And Tv industry.

There are many examples of film and tv industries such as international (fox) , national (channel 4) , regional (burton news).

International is broadcasted or shown on tvs worldwide. an example of international is 20th century fox which is a film company that is owned by the news corporations. The company is funded by a man named William fox but is owned by Rupert Murdoch who also owns another 103 companies. some of these are star gold, the york weekly, the sun , my space and also more.

National is something that would be broadcasted nationally so it would be to and from england or where ever it was that you lived. examples of english national tv would be channel 4 and also the bbc standing for the british broadcasting channel. The bbc has many channels such as bbc one , bbc 2 ,bbc 3 , bbc 4 and also channels such as cbbc cbeebies , bbc news , bbc alba and also bbc HD.
The bbc is a local public service broadcaster. The bbc is funded by a government grant however it does not carry advertising and the funds that are given do not go directly to the bbc but go to a treasury instead via government body known as tv licensing. unlike the itv that makes its money by advertising and showing adverts on tv.

Regional is something that is broadcasted or written in the local area (burton on trent) and example of this is the burton mail. The burton mail is part of staffordshire newspapers limited , a media group which makes two daily newspapers , five newspapers weekly and a selection of magazine titles.
The film industry in the midlands has contributed to some major films made in the uk through a company called EM media

In this video i interviewed Julian from the photography department. I asked him questions about what skills and qualifications you would need to get a job in photography. We also looked at what jobs you could get in photography on google and I also looked at what grades you would also need to get the jobs and what you would actually do and how much you would get paid for doing the work .

There are many jobs available in photography for example there is portrait photography where the photographer will take pictures focusing mainly on the persons facial expressions even though the body is still in the photo its mainly focusing on the face . A portrait photographer would usually around 45 to 50 k a year . The advantage of portrait photography is that lots more people are now wanting to get portrait photos taken of them selfs or children.
Another job that is available in photography is wedding photography. A wedding photographer would do jobs such as going to weddings to take photos of the bride and groom and also other family relatives some wedding photographers will also go to the after wedding party to continue taking photos of all the wedding guests. A wedding photographer would get paid around 50 to 60 k  a year. The advantage of wedding photography is that many Family's like the idea of having professional photos taken of their special day many people also like the idea of wedding photography because the photos are professional and look good compared to just someone with no photography experience the disadvantage is that some people are not always happy with the wedding photos .
There are also other jobs available in photography such as studio lighting this is where someone will be paid for sorting out the lighting making sure that the photos come out not looking too dark and not looking to bright. The person involved in studio lighting has to make sure that all of the lighting is just right for a photo shoot to take place . The advantage of this is that some photographers actually look for someone to help out with the lighting the disadvantage is that most photographers will now do lighting them selfs.

Ending scene

In this scene we see both of the characters Eli and Solara move from the north of america to the west of america during the post - apocalyptic society. As they both move from north to west we see a great change in the surroundings around them  for example in the north side of america the sky is covereed in clouds and   is very dark appart from the sun which is very red and extremly bright. The land is dry and covered in ash and all the buildings are run down but when they move to west the sky is no longer grey and covered in clouds its bright blue with no cloud in sight and it shows a long shot across the sea which shows a prison. There is then a close up of the prison and we see that the prison looks like new. I did this to show the affect the

November 22nd

Today i have been editing my haiku video . The final idea i came up with for my video was winter . I filmed different scenes all to do with winter and then made up my own haiku poem.

november 15th

In todays lesson we made a haiku video based on a poem we found on the internet . we went out side and took clips of things that went well with the poem the video had to be 17 seconds all together.
